Travel adventures

My dream job is one day to be able to travel the world and eventually write about it.

A bit like Bourdain — Food, Travel, and Mental Health — I did say that it was a dream job.

Unfortunately, I’ve been fighting with my procrastination for far too long now. And at the same time, I’m not brave enough to try something like that.

For better or worse this year brought me to a different state of mind. For the first time in over 15 years, I’ll be without a 9 to 5 job from the next month on. And I decided to take that from a positive point of view.

So there’s no time like today.

And what can I do in a time where we all have been almost blocked from traveling? Well writing about my past travels, and I did travel quite a bit. Not as much as most of the traveling writers, but more than the usual “non-travel professional”.

And I did had a few adventures that can be interesting to share.

Like the 2 times where I found myself stuck in the airport. One of them because I brought a knife with me — it was a butter knife inside a souvenir. Or the other one, where I apparently seemed to bring a couple of red flags to the immigration officer in Israel and ended up stuck in a room with 30 Arab men, while waiting to be interrogated.
